Junior Events Project Coordinator

Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 per month + Commission / Performance Incentives

Location: Defu South Street 1, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Work Arrangement: Office-based with regular site visits

TLK Events manages pasar malam, food fairs, festive lighting projects and event logistics across Singapore.

We are looking for a Junior Events Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates at the start of their career who want hands-on experience in the events industry.

You will work closely with experienced team members and learn how projects are coordinated from initial planning through to on-site execution. There will also be opportunities to earn additional commission or performance incentives for successful vendor placements and event lighting projects.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with coordinating event and project arrangements with clients, vendors and suppliers.
• Follow up on schedules, quotations, approvals and project requirements.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and simple presentations.
• Support client communications and provide project updates.
• Coordinate and follow up with potential vendors for event participation and placements.
• Support enquiries and coordination for event lighting projects.
• Attend site visits, meetings and project planning sessions with the team.
• Support event setups, festive lighting installations and other on-site project activities.
• Maintain project schedules, invoices, documents and records.
• Work closely with the operations and project team to ensure projects are completed smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive and willing to learn.
• Comfortable speaking with clients, vendors and suppliers.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and basic spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of Canva and Google Workspace is an advantage.
• Comfortable travelling to project sites around Singapore when required, typically around 2–3 times per week.
• Own transport is an advantage but not required.

Experience in events is not necessary. We value attitude, reliability, communication skills and willingness to learn more than years of experience.

About the Working Hours

Most working days are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm.

As this is an events role, there may occasionally be longer or adjusted hours during event setups, festive periods or installations. Time-off-in-lieu will be provided for additional hours worked.

You will be supported by the team and given guidance as you learn the role.
