As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Debug Project ([*************](*************)) is looking to ramp up our mosquito production systems, release, and monitoring including the support of field and partner sites.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of an enthusiastic team of mosquito biologists, software engineers, and automation experts working to develop better ways to reduce the impact of mosquito-borne diseases. You will oversee a group of regional projects and manage the operational processes and workflow necessary for the implementation of bespoke mosquito rearing and release efforts such as trials, studies and methods including mosquito replacement and suppression. You will be responsible for collaborating with the wider technical and operational team to leverage existing best practices and develop new processes to achieve program goals and drive success management of mosquito production and release activities. **

Responsibilities

• Build and implement end-to-end delivery of mosquito rearing and release programs in collaboration with governments, mosquito control districts, institutional partners and community representatives.
• Be responsible for running and overseeing multiple projects including tracking timelines and project deliverables, resource allocation, and aligning projects with overall organisational goals.
• Develop robust strategic insights, measurement criteria, budget plan and performance tracking to achieve successful program implementation and long-term business goals.
• Translate complex technicalities, gather requirements and bridge the gap between business objectives and engineering/technical teams.
• Identify technical workflows and establish effective team communication to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of resources and processes.
