About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The role involves structural design of buildings and bridges, preparation of calculation reports, and coordination of technical drawings.

This position is suitable for engineers with experience in RC, steel or prestressed bridge design. Fresh graduates with strong academic background and interest in structural design are encouraged to apply.

This position can be arrange for Work From Home basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reinforced concrete (RC) and steel building structures
• Design post-tensioned bridges and/or steel bridges
• Perform structural analysis and engineering design calculations
• Prepare detailed calculation reports and technical documentation
• Review and coordinate structural detailing drawings
• Liaise with clients and attend design / progress meetings
• Coordinate closely with drafters to ensure accurate technical drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in one or more of the following is an advantage:
• Bridge design
• Prestressed concrete design
• Steel structure design
• Reinforced concrete (RC) building design
• Familiar with structural design software (e.g. MIDAS, STAAD pro, ETABS, SAFE or equivalent)
• Able to prepare structured engineering calculation reports
• Good communication skills and able to attend meetings with clients
• Responsible, analytical and detail-oriented
