Job Responsibilities
Implement and maintain Site Safety Management Systems and workplace EHS programmes.
Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, Safety Case requirements and safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections, audits and training for employees and subcontractors.
Maintain emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.
Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements.
Prepare safety reports, audit documentation and certification requirements.
Support safety meetings and other EHS initiatives.
Requirements
Degree in Environmental, EHS or related discipline – Degree holder required.
Preferably 1–3 years of EHS/safety experience.
Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 or SS 651 preferred.
Manufacturing/plant environment experience would be advantageous.
Strong interest in EHS, workplace safety and compliance.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates currently pursuing further studies may also be considered.
