VSyn is building a private capital and investment platform focused on identifying, structuring and creating value from compelling investment opportunities in Malaysia and the region.

As part of this next phase, VSyn is progressing its Malaysian Private Equity / Venture Capital regulatory registration and is looking for a Managing Director – Private Capital & Investments to work closely with the Founder & Chairman in building and institutionalising the platform.

This is not a conventional corporate role. We are looking for someone who wants to help build an investment platform from the ground up and participate meaningfully in its long-term growth.

The Role

* Develop and institutionalise VSyn’s investment strategy, processes and governance

* Originate, evaluate and execute private-market investment opportunities

* Lead financial analysis, valuation, structuring and due diligence

* Lead acquisitions, investments and strategic transactions from evaluation through completion

* Develop relationships with business owners, investors, family offices, financial institutions and

professional advisers

* Oversee portfolio investments, value creation and exit strategies

* Build and lead the investment team as the platform grows

* Work closely with the Founder & Chairman on VSyn’s long-term strategy and growth

Who We’re Looking For

Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience across one or more of:

* Private equity / private capital

* Investment banking / corporate finance

* Family office / principal investments

* Asset management

* M&A / transaction advisory

The successful candidate should combine strong investment and transaction capabilities with commercial judgement, leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset.

We are particularly interested in someone who has reached a stage in their career where they want to build and shape an investment platform rather than simply take another senior position within an established institution.
