As a Collaboration Platform Engineer intern, you will get the opportunity to design, build, and/or improve a range of enterprise communication and collaboration technologies. You will work closely under the guidance of a mentor to deliver your proof-of-concept or prototype (if required) that will transform how employees use technologies to collaborate at work.

Broad Deliverables
- Design & build a proof-of-concept or prototype intelligent communication and collaboration services that can be readily deployed
- Apply modern software and security engineering practices, ensuring platform reliability through SRE principles
- Document the findings of various technologies explored, and present to management and users on your system
Possible Projects*
- Engineer scalable and secure collaboration platforms (chat, conferencing, file share, workflow automation) to ensure high performance, reliability, and usability.
- Apply DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD) to automate deployments and workflows, improving efficiency, product quality and on-boarding speed.
- Build analytics pipelines and observability dashboards to monitor the platform health, applying SRE principles to improve uptime and responsiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the collaboration experience, drive feature enhancements, and explore emerging technologies like AI and automation
Pre-requisites/Skills Required
- Proficient with programming languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and exposure to DevOps/SRE practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore new tools.
