Finance & HR Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Finance & HR Managerto support a small MAS-regulated financial institution.

This is a sole-contributor role covering Finance& Accounting (including bookkeeping), HR generalist duties and officeadministration.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and full sets of accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Handle AP, AR, invoicing, payments, cash flow and banking matters.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and other external parties.
• Handle relevant tax, statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure proper financial controls and accurate accounting records.

HR & Administration

• Handle the full spectrum of HR generalist matters.
• Manage payroll, employee records, benefits and HR Documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee-related matters.
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment requirements.
• Manage general office administration and day-to-day operational matters.
• Liaise with vendors, corporate secretaries and other service providers.
• Support management on ad-hoc projects and process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience handling full sets of accounts and bookkeeping.
• Good understanding of general Finance and Accounting matters.
• Exposure to HR generalist and office administration is preferred.
• Comfortable working independently as a sole contributor.
• Experience in financial services, trust or other regulated environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge or exposure to MAS regulatory requirements is an added advantage.
• Hands-on, organised and able to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
