About the Role

We are hiring at both Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer levels for PLC, SCADA and industrial automation projects.

Project Engineers will focus on hands-on engineering and project implementation. Senior Project Engineers will take on greater responsibility for project delivery, technical guidance and team coordination. Appointment and salary will depend on relevant experience and project capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out PLC programming, configuration, modification, testing and troubleshooting.

• Support system installation, integration, testing and commissioning of PLC, SCADA and related control systems.

• Coordinate project activities with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams.

• Review technical specifications and support engineering design and implementation.

• Attend site surveys, project meetings and testing activities.

• Troubleshoot system faults and carry out upgrading, modification and rectification works.

• Prepare and update technical documentation, drawings, test reports and project records.

• Support maintenance of existing systems when required.

• Ensure work meets project schedules, technical specifications, quality and safety requirements.

Additional Responsibilities — Senior Project Engineer

• Lead project planning and execution from engineering through testing, commissioning and handover.

• Develop project schedules and work breakdown structures and monitor progress and deliverables.

• Provide technical guidance to project engineers and team members.

• Prepare and review PLC / RTU control philosophy, functional requirements and project submissions.

• Resolve technical and project issues in coordination with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements — Project Engineer

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in PLC programming, configuration, testing or troubleshooting.

• Relevant experience in project implementation, system integration, testing & commissioning or maintenance.

• Experience with SCADA, HMI or RTU systems will be an advantage.
  

Requirements — Senior Project Engineer

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Control Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PLC, industrial automation or control system projects.

• Hands-on PLC experience and the ability to coordinate project execution and guide engineering teams.

• Experience delivering projects from engineering/design through testing & commissioning preferred.

• Experience with SCADA, RTU, HMI, or greenfield / brownfield infrastructure, utilities or industrial automation projects will be an advantage.

• Good project coordination, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• PMP certification and a Class 3 driving licence will be added advantages.
