Job Description
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing software functionalities.
- Automate test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with software testing standards and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
A Successful Software Test Engineer (Automation) Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in software and/or web application testing.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on test automation experience using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Strong experience in API testing and REST services validation.
- Experience incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps, together with Git/version control.
- Good understanding of test automation architecture, design principles and best practices.
- Hands-on exposure to functional, performance, load and security testing.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating application data.
- Experience working within an Agile environment, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
