Job Title: Staff – Verification (Application Fulfilment)

Job Description:
Responsible for verifying applications and supporting documents, following up with applicants for clarifications, updating and verifying application data, processing outcome letters, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with authority SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify completeness and accuracy of applications and supporting documents.
• Follow up with applicants via phone/email and obtain outstanding documents.
• Enter, update and verify application information in the relevant system.
• Generate and mail application outcome letters.
• Maintain proper records, filing and application tracking.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘A’ Level (minimum 3 passes), Diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Assistance Scheme Application Processing within government assistance, social welfare or similar benefit programmes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle public enquiries professionally and empathetically.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Able to clear Singapore Government internal security clearance.
• General HR, administration, logistics, customer service or document-scanning experience alone does not meet the relevant experience requirement.
