Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a high-agency, forward-thinking Marketing Communication & PR Intern.

We aren't looking for an intern who waits for a step-by-step instruction manual or a checklist of daily tasks. We are looking for a co-pilot. In the fast-paced world of tech events and PR, roadblocks happen. If you are the kind of person who sees a problem, immediately brainstorms three solutions, and takes initiative before anyone even asks—you will thrive here.

You will assist in crafting compelling marketing materials and developing public relations strategies. More importantly, you will be a vital driver of our event success and stakeholder relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive Client Management: Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders. When a client or VIP says "no" to an event, you don’t just drop the ball; you pivot instantly, diplomatically ask for an alternate representative, and keep the relationship alive.
• Crunch-Time Resilience: Own attendee and target audience acquisition. If an event is a week away and sign-ups are only at 50%, you don't panic. You bring a positive, relentless "hustle" mindset to deploy creative tactics (direct outreach, picking up the phone) to bridge the gap.
• Content & Strategy Support: Draft & create platform-specific content, and collaborate with the team to execute high-impact PR campaigns.
• Ad-Hoc Problem Solving: Jump into fast-moving, unpredictable situations with a solution-oriented attitude rather than expecting to be micro-managed.

Qualifications

• High-Agency Mindset: Exceptional adaptability and a demonstrated ability to be self-directed, leadership-intuitive, and proactive.
• Communication & Persuasion: Strong proficiency in Marketing Communications and PR. You must be bold enough to negotiate and persuasive enough to turn a hesitation into a "yes."
• PR Fundamentals: Experience or familiarity with creating Press Releases, Strategic Communications, and engaging media/stakeholders.
• Unshakeable Positivity: A resilient, team-oriented attitude. You bring infectious energy to the team, especially when deadlines are tight and the pressure is on.
• Tech-Curious: A genuine interest in emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Big Data) and industry trends is a major advantage.
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
