Responsibilities:

• Conduct statutory audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

• Manage all aspects of audit engagements (including statutory and special audits), from planning and fieldwork to completion.

• Handle audit and accounting assignments independently with minimal supervision.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Prepare audit and tax schedules as assigned.

• Ensure timely completion of audit and accounting assignments, meeting monthly budgets and billing targets.

• Apply bookkeeping skills, including the preparation of accounting entries and bank reconciliations.

• Assist with GST filings and registration processes.

• Perform monthly accounts closing and prepare related management reports as required.

• Manage tax compliance matters for corporate clients.

• Support other assignments and special projects as needed.
  

Requirements:

• Possess a recognised degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification from an internationally recognised accounting institute.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting are welcome to apply.

• Good knowledge of bookkeeping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful, able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to meet tight deadlines and committed to delivering quality work.

• Excellent command of English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• A keen eye for detail.

• Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.

• Pleasant and professional disposition.

• Experience in group consolidation of accounts is an added advantage.
