As HR Generalist based in Subang Jaya, Selangor you are the daily link between our people and our business. You support managers and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from attracting talent and onboarding new colleagues to payroll administration, talent development and employee support. You combine operational excellence with a proactive mindset, ensuring HR processes run smoothly while continuously improving the employee experience. Working closely with the Regional Director and local stakeholders, you help build a strong, engaged and future-ready workforce.

Your job in a nutshell:
- Support managers and employees throughout the full employee lifecycle.
- Manage recruitment and selection activities from A-Z, including intake meetings, vacancy posting, sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection and onboarding.
- Strengthen Sarens' employer brand through recruitment campaigns, partnerships and career events
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure every new colleague gets a successful and engaging start.
- Support and coordinate performance management processes, talent reviews and goal-setting cycles.
- Partner with managers to identify development needs and implement suitable talent solutions.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate HR administration in line with local legislation and internal procedures.
- Manage immigration and mobility activities, including work permits, visa processes and compliance requirements where applicable.
- Provide first-line HR support and guidance on policies, procedures and best practices.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify organisational and talent needs.
- Ensure compliance with Sarens Group standards, local legislation and HR processes.
- Promote and uphold Sarens' SHEQ standards, policies and reporting requirements.
- Support ad hoc finance and administrative activities where required.
- Report directly to the Regional Director and collaborate closely with local management, Group Talent and HR colleagues.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a broad HR Generalist, HR Coordinator or similar HR role.
- Experience within recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration.
- Experience supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
- Familiarity with performance management and talent development processes.
- Understanding of learning and development coordination and training administration.
- Exposure to immigration, mobility or international workforce administration is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Professional communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Experience within construction, engineering, industrial services or a project-based environment is preferred.
