Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service during assigned shifts.
Lead and coordinate service staff to maintain efficient operations and good customer service standards.
Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff deployment, scheduling and daily operational requirements.
Brief staff before service and assign duties according to operational needs.
Train and guide new and existing employees on service procedures, menu knowledge and company standards.
Ensure customers are attended to promptly and professionally.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints and escalate serious matters to management when necessary.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation and serving of orders.
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, table setup and overall presentation.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and POS reconciliation where required.
Monitor stock levels of beverages, operating supplies and other restaurant items.
Assist with stock ordering, receiving and inventory checks.
Ensure staff comply with food hygiene, workplace safety and company procedures.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and work performance.
Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales, service and operational targets.
Perform other duties related to restaurant operations as assigned by management.
Requirements
Relevant experience in F&B, restaurant or hospitality operations.
Supervisory experience in a restaurant environment is preferred.
Good leadership, communication and customer service skills.
Able to supervise and coordinate a team during busy service periods.
Able to handle customer feedback and operational issues professionally.
Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling and inventory control is preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
