Schellden Solutions Pte. Ltd. is looking for a Techno-Functional SAP FICO Consultant (S/4HANA) with strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and the ability to work across both functional and technical areas.

The successful candidate will support SAP S/4HANA Finance processes, troubleshoot complex production issues, configure finance processes, and work closely with technical teams on ABAP, integrations, workflows and custom developments.

The role requires someone who can bridge the gap between finance business processes and technical delivery, with the ability to understand functional requirements as well as investigate technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot bank reconciliation issues, including MT940 matching discrepancies.
• Configure and support payment runs and vendor master data, including live defect resolution.
• Manage Asset Accounting configuration, including depreciation key behaviour and mid-year changes.
• Support Capex and commitment tracking across the PO → GR → Invoice process.
• Advise on lease accounting and Right-of-Use (ROU) accounting approaches.
• Configure recurring entries and accrual/deferral postings.
• Support e-invoicing and tax compliance implementations and go-lives.
• Read, debug and, where required, modify or develop ABAP code.
• Work with custom Z-tables, enhancements and related SAP developments.
• Support API and middleware integrations, including platforms such as SnapLogic or equivalent.
• Evaluate and support claims-processing solutions, including SAP-native and third-party solutions.
• Design and configure PO/PR approval workflows and approval matrices.
• Support and troubleshoot SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) reporting.
• Work closely with Finance, IT, ABAP, integration and other business stakeholders.
• Analyse production defects, identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
• Participate in testing, deployment, go-live and post-go-live support activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant on SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in at least one full SAP implementation, major upgrade or RISE migration.
• Strong end-to-end knowledge of FI/CO, including:General LedgerAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableAsset AccountingBank AccountingControlling
• Hands-on SAP configuration experience.
• Working knowledge of ABAP, including debugging, tracing and modifying custom code.
• Experience with Z-tables, enhancements and custom developments.
• Experience with e-invoicing and tax compliance projects.
• Knowledge of APIs and middleware/integration platforms.
• Experience with SAP workflows and approval processes.
• Knowledge of SAP AFO reporting.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to finance and business users.

Preferred

• Experience with SnapLogic or similar middleware platforms.
• Experience with MT940 and electronic bank statements.
• Experience with lease accounting / ROU.
• Experience with SAP-native or third-party claims-processing solutions.
• Experience supporting SAP Fiori and related S/4HANA applications.
