Role Overview:

Position: Java Developer 

Mode: Contractual

Type: Remote, Full-Time (1 year extendable contract based on performance and requirement)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Coding & Development: Write efficient, readable, and maintainable Java code for backend services.
• Testing & Debugging: Assist in troubleshooting, fixing application bugs, and writing unit tests.
• Maintenance: Support existing Java-based applications and RESTful APIs.
• Collaboration: Work with QA, product teams, and senior developers during code reviews and Agile sprints.
• Documentation: Help maintain technical specs and software documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or an equivalent bootcamp certification.
• Core Java: Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), collections, and basic concurrency.
• Frameworks: Familiarity with Spring Boot or Hibernate/JPA.
• Databases: Basic SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
