Role Description The Quarry Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Perak, Malaysia. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of customers for quarry products, including granite aggregates and related materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing and presenting quotations, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and coordinating delivery schedules with operations and logistics teams. The Quarry Sales Executive will maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction firms, and other industrial clients, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management. The role also includes handling customer inquiries and issues, ensuring high levels of service, and supporting credit control by following up on payments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, including experience in B2B sales, account management, and customer relationship building.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of quarry, construction, or building materials industries, with an understanding of aggregates, production processes, and project requirements.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present proposals, prepare clear documentation, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic business and analytical skills, such as market research, pricing analysis, and the ability to prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and be comfortable using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Relevant experience in quarry, construction, civil engineering, or industrial sales is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within Perak and surrounding areas as needed, and hold a valid driver’s license.
