We are looking for a
R&D focused Lead Engineer
to drive the development of products across
electronics, firmware and mechanical systems
. The ideal candidate should have relevant system engineering experience within a product development or R&D environment, with a good grasp of electronics, mechanical and firmware, bringing different teams together, and keeping complex product development moving forward.
This is a
hands-on technical leadership role
where you will lead system integration, resolve technical challenges and coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive exciting R&D product development projects
across system - electronics, firmware, mechanical and optics
Bring multidisciplinary engineering teams together,
driving projects in R&D phase from concept to successful product launch
Lead system integration, testing and troubleshooting to ensure
products perform to the highest standards
Turn product requirements into
practical, innovative engineering solutions
Take the lead in resolving complex technical challenges across different engineering disciplines
Drive design reviews, validation and technical risk management throughout the product lifecycle
Explore
new technologies and ideas
, supporting feasibility studies and continuous product innovation
Requirements
5+ years of R&D or systems engineering experience
Must have good exposure and understanding of
systems for
electronics, firmware and mechanical
engineering disciplines
Experience in
R&D/product development stage
Ability to work across functions and connect different technical teams
Strong project ownership, problem-solving and technical leadership skills
