About the Role

We are looking for a Mobile Developer to join our technology team for a 12-month engagement. You will be responsible for developing, integrating, testing and supporting high-quality mobile applications across Android and/or iOS platforms.

This role is suitable for a developer who enjoys building reliable mobile applications, solving technical problems and working closely with development, QA, security and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance and pixel-perfect mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Integrate REST APIs, platform APIs and third-party services.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes and performance issues.
• Write clean, maintainable and reusable code.
• Implement appropriate unit, integration and automated testing.
• Support SIT, UAT, Regression, VAPT and Performance Testing.
• Work with QA, infrastructure, security and business teams throughout the SDLC.
• Follow established SDLC, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture and Information Security standards.
• Support application release planning, production deployment and post-release issue resolution.
• Prepare technical and operational documentation for BAU handover.
• Participate in continuous improvement of application quality, performance and security.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift or equivalent mobile technologies.
• Experience with REST API integration and backend services.
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX development.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software testing, security and deployment processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates must be currently based in Malaysia or legally eligible to work in Malaysia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing for both Android and iOS.
• Experience with Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated mobile deployment.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, authentication or analytics.
• Experience with Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store deployment.
• Experience working with enterprise applications or regulated environments.
