Role Overview: 

The Project Executive is responsible for supporting the execution

of IT & Infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating project tasks, managing timelines, and

ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for IT projects, ensuring alignment with MTFA’s strategic goals.

• Set deadlines, manage tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery from initiation to completion.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project objectives align with broader organisational goals.

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including detailed project status reports for the IT Manager and senior management, outlining key milestones, progress, challenges, risks, and next steps.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope, budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate records for future reference.

• Oversee the coordination and implementation of IT infrastructure and systems projects, including software deployments, network upgrades, and system integrations.

• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and assist with procurement by gathering quotes, comparing offerings, and negotiating terms.

• Track project expenses and manage resources to ensure alignment with the budget and project requirements.

• Review and support contract agreements, assist in the procurement of IT services and software by gathering quotes, comparing offerings, and negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with MTFA’s policies and project goals.

• Provide IT technical support for projects and assist in the execution of IT infrastructure, solutions, and innovation initiatives as needed.

• When not engaged in project work, provide Level 2 & 3 technical support for the IT team, assisting with day-to-day operations and addressing routine IT issues.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.

• Some prior experience in project coordination or support roles is advantageous.

• Experience in any type of project work will be considered.

• Familiarity with basic project documentation, task management, and workflow.

• Exposure to IT projects and process improvement is a plus.

• Understanding of project management tools and methodologies.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple aspects of a project.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Solid knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with strong problem-solving skills to support and troubleshoot intermediate-level issues effectively.
