About the role

Supervise and monitor daily safety activities at the construction site. Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with site safety rules, procedures and requirements. Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily safety activities at the construction site
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with site safety rules, procedures and requirements
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
• Recommend and follow up on corrective actions for identified safety issues
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site inductions
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment
• Assist in implementing HIRARC, risk control measures and safe work procedures
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate safety controls are in place
• Maintain daily safety inspection records, checklists and other relevant documentation
• Report safety incidents, hazards and non-compliance issues to the SHO / Project Manager

About you

• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH/JKKP and possess a valid Yellow Book
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction site safety experience
• Good knowledge of construction site safety requirements and safe work practices
• Able to conduct site inspections, toolbox meetings and safety briefings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and monitor workers and subcontractors effectively
• Able to work in Klang Valley

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
