Network Consulting Engineer – Enterprise / Security / Service Provider

We are hiring multiple experienced Network Consulting Engineers to support large-scale enterprise and service provider network transformation projects in Malaysia.

We have openings across Enterprise Networking, Network Security and Service Provider technologies, at both intermediate and senior consulting levels.

Network Security – 3 Positions

Enterprise Networking – 3 Positions

• Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center
• Software-Defined Access (SDA)
• Enterprise Routing & Switching
• BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, HSRP, vPC
• Campus network design and implementation

Service Provider – 1 Position

• IP/MPLS
• BGP, OSPF and IS-IS
• MPLS L2VPN / L3VPN
• EVPN and Segment Routing
• Cisco ASR / NCS platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, migrate and optimize Cisco network solutions for enterprise and service provider customers.
• Provide technical consulting throughout the project lifecycle from assessment and design through implementation and handover.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including HLD, LLD, MOP, implementation and migration plans.
• Perform configuration, testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network environments.
• Lead or support network upgrades, migrations and technology transformation projects.
• Conduct customer technical discussions, workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Work closely with solution architects, project managers and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical recommendations and best practices to improve network availability, performance and security.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on Cisco networking experience.
• Experience in at least one of the three technical tracks: Enterprise, Security or Service Provider.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching fundamentals.
• Proven experience in network implementation, troubleshooting and/or solution design.
• Experience working in enterprise, telecommunications, system integration or professional services environments.
• Strong customer-facing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
• Experience preparing HLD/LLD and implementation documentation will be highly advantageous.

Track-Specific Experience

Enterprise Networking

Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies, DNAC/Catalyst Center, SDA, BGP, OSPF, switching, VLAN, STP and related enterprise networking technologies. Cisco's detailed requirement also covers technologies such as VXLAN-EVPN and experience designing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.

Network Security

Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and network security technologies, preferably including ASA, FTD/Firepower, VPN, NAT, identity management and AAA technologies such as TACACS+, RADIUS and 802.1X.

Service Provider

Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS L2VPN/L3VPN, EVPN and Segment Routing, with experience on service-provider platforms such as Cisco ASR9K or NCS highly desirable.

Certifications

Cisco certification is highly preferred:

• CCNA
• CCNP Enterprise / Security / Service Provider
• CCIE will be an advantage

The appropriate level will be determined based on technical depth, relevant experience and interview assessment.
