Job Description
- Ensure timely processing of accounting transactions with high accuracy
- Review reconciliation and coordinate with relevant parties to investigate and resolve the differences/issues
- Lead the discussion with Business/Operations, HQ finance, and Finance Operations team in setting up process flows, financial information and reports
- Responsible for month end closing, and ensuring that closing is completed within the stipulated deadline
- Prepare meaningful and good quality analysis on the financial statement
- Ensure accounting standards, tax requirements, company policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
- Handles external and internal audits, and resolves issues highlighted.
- Analyse business processes and requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes with technology solutions (e.g. automation)
- Improve existing processes where possible to drive efficiency in the reconciliation and reporting processes
- To provide insightful information as and when required by management to support decision making
- Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks as and when requested by management.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Professional qualification in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Prior experience in Big 4 audit firms is an advantage
- Detailed oriented person
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude, highly adaptable, able to interact at all levels and work independently in a fast-paced and high volume environment
