- Collaboration with Data Management Team Data Management Team for data analytics, projects, and any other tasks requiring SAS IT support.
- Assist in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall data processing and reporting. and accuracy in data analytics and reporting projects. priorities between different teams and managing workload effectively.
- Engagement in New and Ongoing SAS IT Projects Support and actively engage in new and ongoing SAS IT projects to enhance SAS IFRS 17 Solution capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with Etiqa IT’s core values. Stakeholders benefit from improved SAS IFRS 17 solutions and enhanced system capabilities.
- Balancing BAU responsibilities with project commitments. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers in SAS best practices. Improved knowledge retention and team efficiency. Ensuring documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Business as Usual (BAU) & Enhancements Support month-end closing, change requests (CRs), enhancements, and post-production defect resolution.
- Efficient and smooth running SAS IFRS 17 processes. Handling competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Minimum 6 years of extensive experience in SAS Base & Macros and SAS Data Integration (SAS DI), focusing on financial reporting, risks, or actuarial solutions. •Experience with IFRS 17 requirements or regulatory compliance in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS DI, SAS Management Console (SMC), SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS EG), SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA), and LSF for scheduling.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data validation techniques. •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across functional teams CERTIFICATIONS/REGULATORY CERTIFICATIONS Key-in any certification/s required for the job (if any) Certification in using SAS products or relevant actuarial certifications is a plus
