Commis Chef — Koffie Lane Kajang

Job Description

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily operation.
• Cook and prepare dishes according to Koffie Lane recipes & SOP.
• Ensure consistent food taste, portion and presentation.
• Assist senior kitchen staff during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and workstation.
• Follow proper food storage, labelling and FIFO procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and inform the Kitchen Leader when stock is low.
• Minimise food wastage and handle ingredients properly.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Work closely with the kitchen team, especially during peak hours.
• Follow all food safety and company rules.

Requirements: Basic kitchen experience preferred, able to work under pressure, good teamwork and discipline, willing to learn, and available on weekends/public holidays. These duties align with typical Malaysian commis roles, where food prep, line cooking, hygiene, stock rotation and assisting senior chefs are core responsibilities.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
