Job Summary

The Service Crew is responsible for delivering friendly, fast, and consistent customer service in a cafe environment. This role supports the smooth day-to-day operations by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and following cafe procedures and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Take orders accurately (in-person, dine-in/takeaway, and/or delivery platforms if applicable).
• Prepare drinks/food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Handle customer requests and questions politely; escalate issues to supervisors when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations (tables, service counter, dining area).
• Support opening and closing duties (setup, cleaning, restocking, checklists).
• Restock consumables (cups, cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.).
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with cafe policies (cash handling, operational guidelines, waste management).
• Assist with basic back-of-house tasks when required (e.g., packing takeaways, labeling items, dish support).
• Work collaboratively with teammates to meet service targets during busy periods.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or F&B is a plus (not required).
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and focused.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays (if required).
• Basic literacy for reading recipes, labels, and order tickets.
• Willingness to learn and follow SOPs.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of basic POS systems (or willingness to learn).
• Teamwork and reliability.
