Job Summary

Responsible for supervising daily uniform and linen production, managing production workers, maintaining product quality, controlling materials and wastage, and ensuring orders are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily cutting, sewing, finishing, quality checking, ironing/pressing and packing.

· Plan daily production schedules according to customer orders and delivery deadlines.

· Assign work and production targets to sewing operators and production staff.

· Monitor production output, productivity, quality and efficiency.

· Ensure products follow approved measurements, samples and quality standards.

· Identify sewing, cutting, measurement and finishing defects and arrange corrective action.

· Coordinate with cutting, sewing, embroidery/printing, QC, warehouse and purchasing teams.

· Monitor fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, labels and other production materials.

· Control fabric usage, wastage, rejected items, alterations and rework.

· Supervise staff attendance, discipline, overtime and work performance.

· Maintain daily/weekly production records and reports.

· Ensure a clean, organized and safe production area.

· Troubleshoot production delays and ensure orders are completed on schedule.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of uniform, garment and linen production processes.

· Good understanding of fabric, cutting, sewing, measurements, finishing and quality control.

· Able to identify production defects and recommend corrective action.

· Good production planning, manpower allocation and staff supervision skills.

· Able to monitor output, efficiency, wastage and rework.

· Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment production equipment.

· Basic Microsoft Excel and production reporting skills.

· Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification.

· 3-5 years of similar working experience in uniform, garment, linen, textile, tailoring or sewing production.. (Interns and fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

· Hands-on experience in uniform and linen manufacturing is highly preferred.

· Experience supervising sewing operators and production workers.

· Candidates with strong practical production experience may be considered even without higher formal qualifications.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
