Summary

Holos is a growth partner for founder-led businesses. We help them grow beyond their own reputation – running brand, creative and the full commercial engine to scale. We're almost 3 years in and a small team. Note that this is a founding-team role: you would hold brand and creative alongside me, the founder, who manages growth. There is a path to grow into a partner over time.

Who we work with

Founder-led SMEs, roughly one to five million in revenue, who built something genuinely good based on their craft and reputation, but have hit the ceiling where word of mouth and current marketing efforts stops reaching new people. We go deep, understand the business beyond the surface level problems, and help the right audience see what their most loyal customers already know.

The role

• You would own brand and creative: the strategy, the truth of the business, and how it shows up (visually, verbally); the creative execution; and the direction of our freelance creatives. You would work as one half of the pod – me handling growth strategy, performance and revenue, while you hold brand and creative. Mainly the two of us working closely with four to five clients.
• 80+% of our work lives in social and digital, that's our main medium, so you create natively for those platforms and understand how content actually performs there. But it's not only making posts. You think across the whole customer journey, from the first time a stranger sees the brand to the moment they decide to buy, and how the creative earns trust at each step.

• scrolls on social media and can't help asking why something works, why that one stopped your thumb
• picks up a product in NTUC and wonders what caught your eye, and why people actually buy
• is curious about psychology and what moves people, thinking beyond just the craft
• is drawn to people's stories
• still watches hour-long documentaries in an age built for 15-second clips
• can take an idea and make it real quickly because you enjoy the doing, and not just the thinking

On top of these: you think in brand and strategy, not just execution. You can create, especially on social media, and you're building the taste to eventually direct a team. You're comfortable conversing in front of a founder. You're comfortable being early, wearing several hats, and building a way of working together.

How we work together

This is close, collaborative work. While I hold the growth and marketing side of things, and you hold brand and creative, we should think out loud together, challenge each other, and shape the work side by side. I'm not looking for someone to just hand briefs to, but for someone to build the creative half of Holos with me, including how the team and culture feel.

Compensation and experience

• We are looking at $4-5k monthly to start. We're small, young, and looking for someone to grow with – skillset-wise, yes, but also financially.
• Mid-level, at least 3–5 years, ideally some of it with SMEs so you know what hands-on, scrappy but effective work looks like, and some with larger brands so you've seen high creative standards.
• You should be able to get hands-on now, while you're building the taste and judgment to direct a team later.

Practically

• We're based in Tampines for now, possibly moving but likely to the East side still
• Two days in-person, three from home
• Flexible on hours within reason – we care about effectiveness, not clock-watching
• Full-time, Singapore-based, with at least 1-2 client meetings or shoots a week
