About Sigmaschool

Sigmaschool is looking for a Content & Growth Marketer who knows how to command attention, shape perception, and turn that attention into business growth. We are not looking for someone who simply “posts content.”

We want a T-shaped marketer: someone whose strongest skill is content and organic distribution, but who also understands campaigns, funnels, positioning, email, landing pages, lead generation, analytics, and how marketing connects to sales. Your job is simple to describe but difficult to do well: Make more people know Sigmaschool, trust Sigmaschool, talk about Sigmaschool, and eventually choose Sigmaschool.

You will initially work closely with the founder and team, with the opportunity to grow into leading Sigmaschool’s wider marketing function.

What You’ll Do

You will help own Sigmaschool’s marketing strategy and execution, with content as the foundation.

Content and Distribution

- Create content ideas that grab attention quickly

- Turn Sigmaschool’s stories, students, outcomes, opinions, and beliefs into memorable content

- Write hooks, scripts, captions, emails, landing-page copy, and campaign angles

- Build repeatable content formats that can scale

- Repurpose one strong idea into multiple pieces of content across different platforms

- Work with founders, team members, students, and creators to extract strong stories

- Study creators, competitors, trends, and internet culture

- Adapt trends without making the brand feel forced or cringe

- Grow organic reach, engagement, followers, leads, and brand recall

- Make Sigmaschool impossible to ignore in the education, technology, and career space

Growth Marketing

- Plan and execute marketing campaigns around launches, events, masterclasses, student stories, and new offers

- Develop lead magnets and other ways to turn attention into qualified leads

- Improve the journey from content to landing page, application, and enrolment

- Work with the admissions team to understand lead quality, objections, and conversion

- Support email marketing, community campaigns, partnerships, referrals, and other growth channels

- Analyse what is generating attention, leads, applications, and revenue

- Run experiments, document what works, and build repeatable growth systems

- Help maintain a clear marketing calendar and campaign cadence

- Coordinate freelancers, editors, creators, agencies, or future marketing hires when needed

You do not need to be the world’s best specialist in every marketing channel. However, you should understand how the different parts of marketing work together and be willing to take ownership beyond social media.

You Might Be a Fit If

You are the kind of person who:

- Understands why people stop scrolling

- Can explain why a campaign, post, or funnel worked or failed

- Has strong taste in content and branding

- Writes strong hooks and angles naturally

- Knows how to make ideas feel sharp, emotional, funny, useful, or controversial

- Understands the difference between getting attention and generating business results

- Can connect content to leads, applications, and revenue

- Studies creators, brands, memes, internet culture, marketing, and distribution

- Is comfortable working across strategy and execution

- Can move quickly, test ideas, and learn from the results

- Is resourceful and does not need a large team or budget to make progress

- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be given individual tasks

- Cares more about outcomes than vanity posting

- Wants to eventually lead campaigns, people, and the wider marketing function

- Is comfortable being judged by reach, leads, pipeline, brand impact, and revenue contribution

Bonus Points If You

- Have grown social accounts or communities before

- Have generated leads or revenue through organic content

- Have experience with education, careers, coding, technology, startups, or creator-led brands

- Can shoot or edit short-form video

- Have written high-performing posts, threads, scripts, emails, landing pages, or campaigns

- Understand conversion funnels and basic marketing analytics

- Have experience with email marketing, paid ads, partnerships, events, or community growth

- Know how to turn one idea into ten pieces of content

- Understand founder-led content and personal branding

- Have managed freelancers, creators, agencies, or a small marketing team

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means:

- More people recognise and remember Sigmaschool

- Our content gets shared, saved, discussed, and acted upon

- We develop strong recurring content formats and campaigns

- Organic content produces consistent inbound interest

- Marketing generates qualified leads, applications, and enrolments

- We understand which messages, channels, and campaigns are actually working

- Sigmaschool becomes known for clear opinions, strong stories, and undeniable student outcomes

- You gradually take greater ownership of our marketing strategy, calendar, campaigns, and team

This Role Is Not for You If

- You only want to schedule posts based on instructions

- You care about aesthetics but not business results

- You need every task and campaign to be fully planned for you

- You are uncomfortable being accountable for leads and outcomes

- You only want to work within one narrow marketing channel

- You avoid experimentation because some ideas might fail

- You consistently play it safe because you are afraid of criticism

How to Apply

Apply at: sig1.co/apply-job

Please send us:

- Your portfolio or examples of content and marketing work you have created

- Three brands or creators you think are excellent at marketing, and why

- Five content or campaign ideas you would create for Sigmaschool

- One example of how you would turn a piece of content into leads or applications

- A short note explaining why you think you can help Sigmaschool command attention and grow

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to post. We are looking for someone who can understand the market, shape the message, create demand, and eventually help lead Sigmaschool’s marketing.
