Amoda Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Amoy Canning Corporation. Amoy Canning Corporation saw its beginning in 1908 in the city of Amoy, China - establishing itself as one of the pioneers in the food processing industry in South China and South East Asia. Rapid growth has led to the establishment of factories in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. The three companies are now independant of each other. Amoy Canning Corporation, Malaysia and Singapore maintained very close links and are under the same management.

Amoy Canning Corporation (Malaya) Bhd was established in 1959 and is now a diversified company with interests in marketing of beverages under the brand name 'Delite' and property investment. The company and its group is the owner of Amoda Building in Kuala Lumpur. The company has also ventured into property investment in Australia.
