Tentang Muslim Food Industry (M) Sdn Bhd

The founder of Muslim Food Industry (M) Sdn Bhd (***4041-H) is Ustaz Jamaludin bin Yusof. He is a science teacher in several schools in the Terengganu district and is known locally as Cikgu Din.

In the 1980s, he realized that the food production and economy were monopolized by non-bumiputera communities. Taking on the fardhu kifayah responsibility to fulfill the food needs of the Muslim community and engage in economic jihad, in 1986 he made the decision to end his career as a teacher and establish Muslim Food Industry (MFI). At that time, MFI was the only bumiputera producer of yellow noodles, which gained popularity and acceptance from various parties.

Starting small, his business continued to grow and advance. With the current development in 2007, he changed the name of Muslim Food Industry to Muslim Food Industries to preserve the diversity of Muslim products in the current market. By 2011, MFI upgraded its existing factory to a more advanced and efficient one to accommodate the increasing demand and remain competitive.

He passed away in 2014 at the age of 63. After the impressive successes under his leadership, the survival of Muslim Food Industries was continued by his sons and credible members of the MFI administration who have experience in the food industry sector.
