Every day at work, I prepare cakes and pastries for the Cafe. Then I start preparing for teabreaks and functions, or I prepare decorations for VVIPs and make bread and cakes. In the past 2 years, the most impactful lesson I have learned is to always maintain a positive attitude towards learning, interacting with others, and thinking calmly no matter what challenges I face. My colleagues enjoy challenging me in my work, which has helped me grow. The hardest part of the job is never having enough time to prepare for everything that needs to be done, and there are always countless difficulties waiting for you, but luckily I have managed to overcome them step by step. As for the most interesting part of the job, it is the joy of interacting with others and the growth I experience from learning more useful experiences while making cakes or bread.

During events at the hotel, the banquet is consistently the most hectic area. This involves tasks such as preparing, tidying up, and ensuring utensils and cutlery are polished. Through this experience, I have gained knowledge in serving guests, table manners, food presentation, and the overall workings of a hotel. Despite being a part-time employee, the management is considerate of our well-being. The most challenging aspect is waking up early and finishing work late at night, although I have grown to appreciate this routine. The most rewarding part is interacting with guests and being able to bring a smile to their faces.
