Your ‘day to day’

In this role with Philip Morris Singapore Pte Ltd, as a Commercial Deployment Planning Executive, you will serve as a strategic partner to Commercial teams by transforming data into actionable business insights that drive growth, field execution excellence, and commercial performance.

You will combine strong business acumen with analytical expertise to identify market opportunities, uncover performance gaps, and translate complex data into clear recommendations that influence business strategy and decision-making. Working closely with local and regional stakeholders, you will support the development of data-driven solutions, dashboards, and AI-enabled tools that enhance productivity, strengthen execution, and create measurable business value.

The role requires a curious and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for understanding business challenges, challenging assumptions, and continuously improving the way data, technology, and insights are leveraged across the organization. You will act as a bridge between business users and data governance teams, ensuring that analytical capabilities are aligned with commercial priorities and deliver meaningful outcomes for the field and the business – to ensure we stay ahead of the innovation curve.

Your Accountabilities Include

Commercial Performance & Strategic Insights

Generate actionable insights and recommendations that identify growth opportunities, address performance gaps, and support commercial decision-making.

Support business reviews, volume planning, forecasting, target setting, and performance steering through data-driven analysis.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks that provide visibility into commercial performance, field execution, retailer engagement, and market opportunities.

Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance and execution excellence.

Field Force Effectiveness & Activation Excellence

Drive field performance tracking, activation steering, and execution monitoring through scorecards, trackers, and performance dashboards.

Translate business priorities into data-backed field directions, enabling effective resource allocation, outlet prioritization, and commercial execution.

Data & AI Enablement

Partner with local, regional, and data governance teams to deliver analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that create measurable business value.

Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and advanced analytics to strengthen commercial effectiveness and field productivity.

Data Management & Cross-Functional Business Partnering

Ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy across commercial data assets and business intelligence solutions.

Act as a trusted partner across Commercial, Analytics, IT, and regional stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable insights and data-driven solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

Commercially minded and analytically driven professional with a strong curiosity for uncovering insights and translating data into business impact
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline
3+years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, preferably within FMCG or consumer-driven environments.
Strong understanding of commercial performance management, sales execution, and business planning.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, and Microsoft Excel to develop scalable reporting, analytics, and decision-support solutions.
Proven ability to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Experience working across business, analytics, and data governance teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Exposure to Salesforce Analytics / CRM Analytics, AI-enabled solutions, or Python for analytics and automation is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions through insights.
