TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

Assist in developing and implementing short-term and long-term recruiting strategies and sourcing channels in order to facilitate quick time-to-hire across all opening roles and build a talent pipeline to support the company’s growth.
Responsible for the entire recruitment process, including job postings on different recruiting platforms, cold calling, screening, shortlisting and selecting the right candidates, arranging and conducting interviews, conducting reference checks, and the placement of the candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices for talent acquisition.

Payroll Management and Leave Management:

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Handle leave management processes, including tracking leave balances, processing leave applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies, resolving issues promptly and accurately.

Employee Engagement Activities:

Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
Coordinate team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition events to boost morale and promote employee satisfaction.
Solicit feedback from employees and implement improvements to enhance the overall employee experience.

Employee Relations and Performance Management:

Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a supportive work culture.
Manage performance appraisal processes, providing coaching and support to managers and employees as needed.
Implement performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring fairness and consistency.

Compliance with Malaysian Labor Laws:

Stay up-to-date with changes in Malaysian labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all HR practices and policies.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Work closely with legal counsel when needed to address compliance issues and mitigate legal risks.

Foreign Worker Management

Manage the foreign worker application quota by liaising with the agency and production manager to ensure a smooth process and accordingly to government rules and regulations.
Perform periodical audit on foreign workers accommodation in the hostel, etc.
Oversee other jobs /issues pertaining to foreign workers (embassy, KDN, Immigration, Fomema, etc.).
Ensure the foreign workers renew passports and permits updated accordingly to SOCSO, Immigration, and Fomema.

Administration and Ad Hoc Tasks:

Acts as a document controller to maintain and improve the effectiveness of ISO 9001:2015.
Monitor and control the job sheet & booking form within the department.
Ensure up-to-date payment of utilities, local authorities (MBSJ, pejabat tanah, KDEB), insurance and vehicle road tax.
Upkeep of office equipment (photostat machine, CCTV, conditioner, Stationery)
Maintain director’s monthly claim
Oversee office administration tasks. Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by company directors or other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent
Require language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR roles
Experience in conducting different types of interviews (phone, online and face-to-face)
Knowledgeable in the ISO 9001 certification process.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
