This role is responsible for all the technical direction, effectiveness, planning, development and delivery of all software projects!.Established global organisation who are developing a centralised greenfields site 25 kilometres South East of Kula Lumper (KL) have a newly created position for either a local candidate or someone who is interested in experiencing Malaysia. This position will drive the goals and strategies in line with the Business Direction. The Systems Development Manager needs to be solutions focused and will work primarily with the development personnel members of the team to design, develop and deliver these information systems and in close liaison with system owners and stakeholders to ensure successful implementations of projects to ensure that the long term objectives are realised. Responsibilities:•Responsible for evaluating ways to improve the skill set of the group and drive improvement in systems in consultation with systems owners. •Work closely with the project managers to ensure that the projects are completed effectively and timelySkills/experience:•Team building - create and hire •People Management •Negotiation skills •resource management •Relationships at all levels of business •Short term project management •Support broad range of technologies including .net, Java,Classic ASP, windows, UNIX, Oracle, MSSQl, Delphi
