Tentang Sea Gypsy Village Resort

We are a small family run resort on Pulau Sibu, with only 28 chalets. At full capacity we can take about 80 guests. Our guests are mainly expatriate because we are an Eco Resort and don't have air conditioning or hot water! Our season is from February to November and staff take their holidays in December and January.

 

History

The Wills family opened Sea Gypsy Village Resort & Dive Base in 1992, it has been going from strength to strength ever since, whilst still managing to maintain the natural beauty of the land and the integrity of the island. The region was designated a Marine Park in 1993.

 

Product & Services

Our aim is to provide clean, comfortable, basic accommodation built from natural materials (wood, atap, etc.), fully equipped with everything to make our guests stay relaxing and enjoyable but without computers, mobile phones, tv's etc. We provide excellent food in plentiful supply and have a fully stocked bar practically on the beach. We also aim to provide whatever our guests may need by operating a dive base, children's club and library. Indoor and outdoor games are also provided.
