Job Description

Tasks and duties:

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within the approved schedule.
Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for site operations.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.
Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems, and construction-related challenges.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site personnel.
Maintain proper documentation, site records, and daily progress reports.
Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress review meetings.
Monitor material deliveries and ensure materials meet project specifications.
Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
Ensure proper housekeeping and site organization at all times.
Assist in project handover, defect rectification, and project close-out activities.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in building construction projects. Fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions.
Experience in high-rise building projects will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of construction methods, building materials and site management practices.
Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Familiar with construction quality standards and safety requirements.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, AUTO-CAD, and PowerPoint.
Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Good Team player to communicate with key stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to multitask and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work location based at Johor, willing to travel outstation if required.
Willing to work at multiple location / sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
