• Lead Financial Close & Reporting - Oversee all month end closing activities with support from the shared services team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.

• Provide guidance and support to team members, and work closely with cross functional departments to gather and validate financial information.

• Strategic Analysis: Analyse financial data to provide insights for business decisions and implement cost-saving strategies.

• Lead the preparation and coordination of annual audits, statutory filings, and tax submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Manage Cash Flow & Compliance - Monitor and manage company cash flow while ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, statutory requirements, and tax/SST obligations.

• Drive Planning, Forecasting & Performance Insights - Partner with business and functional leaders to shape growth strategies, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and deliver insightful variance analysis against plans and prior periods

• Strengthen Controls & Governance - Maintain robust internal controls and ensure they operate effectively in line with corporate standards.

• Recommend improvements to process, procedures and relevant system integrations, drive the adoption of simple methods and lead the implementation

• Ad hoc duties as deemed appropriate for an Assistant Finance Manager
