We were provided with accommodations that were much nicer than a typical hostel, which we called the staff quarters. Even before our official working shifts began, we were allowed to eat at the staff cafe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was excellent, thanks to a talented kitchen team. The HR department played a crucial role in helping us choose which department we wanted to explore, as the five-star resort had a variety of unique departments. Even though our six-month training period wasn't enough to learn from all of them, we were provided with uniforms, a Westin badge, and a name tag that displayed our name and passion, allowing guests to easily start conversations with us. The resort also hosted many events that provided us with valuable experiences that couldn't be bought or learned in school.
