Tentang Toyo Tyre Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Toyo Tyre Malaysia (TTM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan-based tire and rubber products company, Toyo Tire Corporation (“Toyo Tires”) was established in 2011. The TTM factory built with total investment of RM1.6 billion, sited on a 148-acre site in Kamunting Raya in Taiping, specialises in producing world-class performance and high-quality tires for passenger cars, MPVs, SUVs, and 4x4 vehicles. Commercial production commenced in June 2013 and the Company employs about 1700, 100% local employees. 

With the completion of its Phase 2-1 expansion plan in September 2019, making it the largest tyre manufacturer in Malaysia, the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility not only reinforces Toyo Tyre global tyre manufacturing capabilities but also serves as the “hub for global supply” to various markets such as Europe, Japan, Middle East, USA and Asia.

June 2023 has marked the 10th year anniversary for Toyo Tyre Malaysia Sdn Bhd. At the same time, the company has also achieved its 40th Million Tyre Achievement.
