Full Time QA Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in BW Yee Seng Steel Industries Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 1 year of experienceas a QA Engineer or in a similar quality-related role, preferably within themanufacturing or steel industry.

Strong knowledge of basic Quality Control (QC) tools.

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an added advantage.

Good knowledge of data analysis, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and systematically.

Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and different departments.

Proactive, analytical, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates with relevant experience in steel, Colour Coil, metal, or related manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply.

Able to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese, as the role requires regular communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues/stakeholders.

Establish and maintain product requirements, inspection criteria, and testing procedures for Colour Coil products.

Monitor and control manpower, inspection, testing, and production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.

Manage non-conformance issues, including investigation, corrective action, and proper disposition.

Handle customer complaints and internal quality issues, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI)meetings and develop and establish appropriateQuality Plans (QP).

Provide technical support for Product Certification (PC), PPS, and the preparation and formatting of Load and Compression Test requirements and results.

Maintain and update the company certification and licensing master list, ensuring timely renewal and proper documentation.

Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment setup and production processes, where required.

Conduct product and process tests, experiments, technical analysis, and problem-solving activities.

Analyse issues related to components, raw materials, finished products, processes, and systems, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Drive process improvement and quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.

Participate in the company's Environmental, Safety & Health Management System and support compliance with relevant requirements.

Perform other quality-related duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
