Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry.

Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) and holds a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Passionate about eye care and working in a clinical setting.

Proactive, meticulous and willing to learn.

Patient-focused, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, adaptable team player.

Perform refraction and other relevant eye tests as required by the ophthalmologist.

Support treatment planning and respond to patients’ needs and enquiries.

Coordinate surgery planning and scheduling.

Educate patients on eye care and explain relevant procedures.

Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling and follow-ups.

Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Undergo training as an Ophthalmic Surgical Technician, with the opportunity to assist the ophthalmologist in the operating theatre.

Support occasional marketing activities, including roadshows and carnivals.
