Job Description

We are looking for an IT Technician to provide technical support to computer users and ensure that IT hardware, software, network connectivity, and related systems operate efficiently. The successful candidate will assist with troubleshooting, system maintenance, equipment installation, and day-to-day IT support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users for computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, email, and network-related issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, install, test, repair, and maintain IT hardware and software.
• Set up computers and other IT equipment, including operating systems, applications, and network cables.
• Monitor the daily performance and condition of IT equipment and systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure IT hardware and software remain in good working condition.
• Conduct daily checks on Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS), CCTV, Wi-Fi, printers, access doors, and Astro systems.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, technical records, installation activities, and troubleshooting reports.
• Manage software installations, updates, hardware replacements, and upgrades as required.
• Coordinate with vendors on hardware or software defects, warranty claims, repairs, and replacements.
• Assist users with technical guidance, documentation, and instructions on the proper use of IT systems.
• Recommend improvements or upgrades to IT hardware and software where necessary.
• Perform other IT-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology (IT), Computer System Operation, or Computer System Administration.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in IT hardware and software support are preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking concepts, LAN configuration, routers, switches, and network connectivity.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Good communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage tasks efficiently, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and keep up with developments in the IT field.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
