25. Site Safety Supervisors.
(1) The site safety supervisor shall be a person who is competent to perform the duties specified in subregulations (3) and (4), possess such qualifications as are approved by the Chief Inspector and has a minimum of two year's experience as a site foreman.
(2) The site safety supervisor shall-
(a) ensure that the provisions of the Act and any regulations made thereunder are complied with; and
(b) promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite.
(3) The duties of a site safety supervisor shall include-
(a) inspecting and rectifying any unsafe place of work;
(b) correcting any unsafe practice;
(c) checking sub-constructors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the regulations made thereunder; and
(d) to liaise with contractor's safety supervisors appointed under regulation 26 with respect to safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors.
Demonstrate active involvement and promotion of client policies, safety programmes and initiatives
Attend morning project meetings to highlight HSSE issues. Provide safety, health and environmental guidance to project management and workforce
Liaise and report on safety, health and environmental issues on a regular basis with the HSSE Manager/Lead
Support Project Team in the development of safety meeting agendas and presentation of HSSE statistics and safety alerts
Support the Project Team with the incident investigation and reporting process, and to ensure the quality of both the investigation and the report
Ensure incident site preservation where required to gain / establish facts
Provide support in incident investigation and root cause analysis where it's required. Support project induction & general training programmes as required
Conduct safety audits as required in line with project audit schedule.
Help develop safety training programmes and strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENT
Registered with DOSH as a Qualified Safety & Health Officer with a valid Green Book.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related to the occupational safety and health field.
Good site practices, and knowledge with HSE, Reporting, Time Management, Writing and Communication Skills.
Able to work with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines.
Possess good planning and supervision skills.
