Design stamping process layouts and strip layouts, and conduct thorough reviews with internal teams and tooling vendors. Review tool structure designs prior to detailed work. Take full responsibility for completing tool designs. Manage and track the tooling schedule, including design, fabrication, testing, and mass production tooling approval. Review and approve in-house or outsourced tool designs before fabrication. Maintain up-to-date tool designs and customer part drawing revisions. Organize and control tooling drawings, documents, and engineering change notices (ECN). Manage and update the tooling master-list, including stamping materials and customer part revisions. Job Requirements: Minimum Certificate in Tool & Die Making or Professional certificate in Tool & Die Design. Strong knowledge in Press Tools Design, AutoCAD & 3D software, and Microsoft Office. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in press tool making. 7 to 10 years of experience as a Tool Designer in metal stamping or press tool in progressive, compound & stage tooling. Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing), mechanical assembly processes, and quality inspection methods.
