ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
2. Stay updated on changes to relevant labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, and ensure payroll practices remain compliant.
3. Coordinate with relevant government agencies for the timely submission of statutory payments, including EPF, SOCSO, and income tax deductions.
4. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, deductions, and allowances.
5. Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll-related documents for audit and compliance purposes.
6. Collaborate with the Finance Department to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and statutory compliance.
8. Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and systems to identify and address areas for improvement.
9. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems, ensuring they meet legal and regulatory requirements.
10. Provide training and support to HR staff and line managers on payroll procedures, compliance matters, and system usage.
11. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
12. Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in payroll processing and compliance.

• Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resource functions including manpower planning, recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits & welfare, payroll administration, performance evaluation / review, training & development and employee relations
• Formulates, monitor and review policies, strategies and procedures relating to all phase of human resource activities
• Develop and implement effective hiring strategies, procedures and practices that will result in attracting and retaining the highest qualified candidates and maximizing return on recruiting investment.
• Propose, review compensation and benefits packages to ensure market competitiveness by conducting salary and benefits survey and up-dates
• Responsible for overall office management and administration, formulate, coordinate and implement administrative policies and procedures
• Maintain employee discipline and harmony
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulatory requirements
Update our internal databases with new employee data including contact details and employment forms.
Collect payroll information such as hours of work done by an employee, details of bank accounts, etc.
Assist in screening forms and resumes of applicants.
Plan and schedule interviews with candidates.
Manage job advertisements on job portals and social networks.
Create reports on the HR-related process when required.
Address queries and issues of workers when required.
Review and distribute company strategies by hard copies (e.g. notice board, brochures) or in digital formats (e.g. email, posts on social networks/forums/company website).
Assist the HR team in organizing career fairs and special events.
Lead and assist in the preparation of any HR Strategy proposal paper and employee engagement activities.
Involves in Company manpower planning and work collaboratively with Head of Departments (HOD) on talent management, job levelling, succession planning, departmental structure etc.
To manage and coordinate yearly Job Description exercise and ensure job desciptions of all employees are updated.
