To ensure that all classes are conducted as scheduled and cancellation of classes kept to the minimum. c. To ensure that all lecturers are punctual to class. ii) Students Maintaining accurate records with regard to: a. Students’ attendance b. Immediately report students who skip classes so that the necessary follow-up action, i.e. warning, can be issued. c. Permitting only registered students to attend class. Students not registered to be referred to the Registry. d. Ensuring that all students during lectures are using the ID tag. 10) Meeting deadlines and fulfilling specific tasks assigned with regards to academic calendar and any other directives. 11) Student Retention Commit to ensure student enrolment for each program is maintained and students effectively motivated and guided to avoid dropping out of program. 12) Research Publications Ensure publication of at least one (1) personal research publication annually. 13) Preparation and Completion of Documents Prepare, compile and complete documents for submission to the relevant authorities in order to receive the needful approvals and accreditation. 14) Coordinate with marketing and academic divisions efforts to recruit and retain students. (Minimum 2 students/semester) Requirements: Candidate must possess a minimum of Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. At least 1-2 years of teaching experience with a good command of English. Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proven track record with at least 3-5 years solid industry experience. Can demonstrate teaching excellence and commitment to student success. Strong research background and ability to publish in academic journals. A collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Duties in Teaching: 1. The candidate will involve in teaching. 2. Prepare and deliver lectures, studios, and practical sessions. 3. Assess student assignments and grade student performance. 4. Monitor and endeavour to always maintain high student morale and motivation. 5. Counsel and mentor students with regard to their punctuality, academic progress and professional development. 6. Be available to students for questions and individual consultation for a reasonable period of time each week. 7. Maintain accurate and up-to-records; including, but not limited to, computer records, attendance sheets, and course portfolios. 8. Carry out other duties as assigned by management. 9. Organise and conduct field trips and other excursion or other learning activities. 10. Assist in school promotional activities (Open House, Trade Shows, Education Fairs, etc.) both inside and outside RUI normal operating hours. Attend professional development workshops as specified by management. 12. Be involved in community activities. Duties in Technical Support: 1. To supervise the day-to-day running of the Fashion program by ensuring that equipment and studio are available and operational. 2. To provide support for the teaching of Fashion by preparing and setting up equipment and materials for practical classes. 3. To control and maintain in good and safe working order tools, equipment and materials for Fashion & Textiles, including organising repairs, regular maintenance to equipment by external companies. 4. To supervise students in the Fashion Studio during open access sessions, providing said students using the workshop have been through the area’s induction process with a lecturer and are certified to work in the fashion workshops. 5. To ensure that students always maintain appropriate levels of safe behaviour when working in the Fashion Studio during open access sessions and to ensure that set standards of health and safety is adhered. 6. To report any failure of individuals to comply with instructions to the (PD). 7. To assist in the preparation of risk assessments procedures carried out in the Fashion studio. 8. To assist in the production of safety checklists and to have responsibility for reporting Health and Safety matters in the specialist fashion workshops areas. 9. To be responsible for ordering stock, stock control, including security and the sale of expendable materials to students. 10. To support the fashion students with their preparation for fashion shows. 11. To keep up to date with Health and Safety requirements and to ensure the maintenance of health and safety standards in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act. 12. To work within the guidelines of the Fashion Design Health and Safety policy. 13. Other task assigned by Head of Department.
