Perform daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and water systems within the factory, including distribution boxes, water pipes, water pumps, lighting, and related equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical wiring, water lines, and piping systems to identify potential safety hazards and prevent equipment failures.
Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies such as water leaks, power interruptions, electrical faults, and short circuits....
This position primarily works in indoor facilities. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. It may stand for extended periods walking in the facilities. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 Kg, and climb a vertical ladder. Must have knowledge of work on hot surfaces, because you will have direct contact with molding equipment with high temperatures, have knowledge in the use of personal protective equipment for solvents. The Maintenance Technician may only use hand tools, impact tools, hand saws, hand drills, hammers and low risk equipment. The use of all equipment and accessories that represent a high risk such as bench cutting tools, electric cutting saws, manual bow saws, etc. is prohibited. Always using personal protective equipment where applicable for the execution of maintenance activities.
Machine Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic faults in production machinery to minimize downtime
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks according to the master plan to ensure equipment longevity and prevent unexpected failures
Ensure all machinery is fitted with safety guards in compliance with OSHA standards; strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety regulations and maintain clean work areas...
Responsible for setup, maintaining, testing, adjusting, and supporting manufacturing machinery and machinery processes, which could include dies and molds. Will provide preventative maintenance on any problematic manufacturing issues and process equipment if necessary, as well as troubleshoot on a wide spectrum of tooling and production equipment
