- Key Responsibilities1. Site Safety Monitoringo Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe working conditions.o Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.o Identify unsafe acts or conditions and initiate corrective action.2. Compliance & Regulationso Ensure compliance with local safety legislation, codes of practice, and company policies.o Maintain knowledge of OSHA / local safety laws and updates.o Liaise with authorities for site inspections or incident investigations.3. Risk Managemento Assist in hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).o Recommend and implement risk control measures.o Maintain and update site-specific safety plans (SSSP).4. Incident Managemento Respond to and investigate incidents/accidents/near misses.o Prepare incident reports and root cause analysis.o Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).5. Safety Documentation & Reportingo Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety training.o Submit safety performance reports.o Keep documentation aligned with ISO standards or client requirements.6. Emergency Preparednesso Ensure emergency equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits) is in place and serviceable.o Participate in emergency response planning and drills.7. Coordination & Communicationo Coordinate with project team, contractors, and workers on safety-related matters.o Promote a strong safety culture on site.o Attend safety meetings and escalate serious safety issues to the Project Director/ Project Manager.
