1. Responsibility

To inform the QA/QC junior Supervisor if there are any in-coming materials those are out of the specifications. b) To carry out checks on the raw and treated water daily and to confirm their suitability before the production can proceed with their activities. c) To conduct checks on the warmer water daily to ensure they are within the specified range. d) To carry out raw material preparation inspection to confirm that the raw materials prepared by the Syrup personnel are in accordance with the raw materials stated in the Ingredients Book. e) Conduct tests on the syrup flavor and confirm that all the parameters checked are within the specifications before approving the batch for Production to commence filling in to the cans. f) During initial filling thorough checks are conducted on the various can parameters to ensure they are within the specifications and to feed back to the Production personnel if there are any non conformances and to stop the line if necessary until the quality issue is resolved. g) Inspections at regular intervals are carried out to ascertain that the various quality parameters set for the product and cans are maintained and to alert the Production personnel if there any deviations. h) To conduct final inspection on the packed products and to confirm that the tray, shrink wrapping and pallet condition are in accordance with customers’ requirement before approving each pallet for transfer to the store. i) To assist the QA/QC Junior Supervisor to conduct microbiological tests according to the procedures stated in the company’s Food Safety Program. j) To carry out in-house calibration of the various laboratory equipment and to keep track of the next calibration date for each equipment to ensure that the there are no lapses in the calibration status. k) Collect finished product samples from the line and to retain them at the QC storage area for future reference.
